John L. Ioia

Coach

John Ioia has been GA's ice hockey coach for 13 years and in that time has produced two Flyers Cup Championships, three league championships and is credited with reviving the program's popularity after a few years when participation was low. He also holds the Philadelphia scholastic record of 48 straight league wins and has been honored as Coach of the Year in Scholastic hockey numerous times. Twice he has led the team to the State Championship.
